Who we are

Vogelstrand Guesthouse is an intimate owner managed bed and breakfast guesthouse situated in Vogelstrand, Swakopmund.  Hannelie is a native Swakopmunder and her hosting speciality combines perfectly with Stephen's culinary skills!  We have purposely limited our establishment to 8 rooms to enable us to give premium attention to our guests. Each room has its own entrance.
Each morning your hosts, Hannelie and Stephen Turner, serve a delicious English or health breakfast with an array of mouth watering dishes made from local produce. Our rooms in Vogelstrand Guesthouse have been individually designed with great attention paid to the small detail to make it cosy and comfortable. The outside areas were created a quiet country courtyard style to spend leisure time and relax after a day of sightseeing and enjoying the beach.

We are a family run establishment offering bed and breakfast accommodation in Swakopmund.  We provide single, double, executive and family rooms with en-suite facilities.

Vogelstrand Guesthouse is situated in Swakopmund, the holiday mekka of Namibia.  You will find Swakopmund with its old German character and architecture an unforgettable and relaxing experience.

Swakopmund has a great golf course about 5 km out of town, where you will find springbuck on the fairways and be accompanied by a fresh sea breeze while playing.  There is a great clubhouse with breathtaking scenery where one can reflect on your game while enjoying a cold one.

For the more adventurous, there is hang gliding from the dunes, sand boarding, horse riding, quad bike excursions, fishing trips, dolphin cruises, tandem parachute jumps and more . . .

We are easy to find . . .

Arriving from Windhoek turn right at the first traffic light in Moses //Garoeb street (also the C34 to Henties), continue on the Henties Bay road crossing three 4-way stops, 1 traffic circle and at the second traffic circle, turn left into Dr Schwietering Street, carry on and turn left in Rosenquartz street and left again at Tsavorite Str, (second 4- way stop). We are the second property on your Left.
