Stayed here with my family and friends over Easter. Very helpful and friendly hosts who welcomed us warmly and assisted us when needed. Great home-made fresh breakfasts. A 3 minute walk from the sea (not in view, but one can hear the rushing wind and crashing waves) with amenities for dining and activities within the vicinity and the hosts ready to vouche their recommendations. A serene stay, though was hoping for self-catering facilities (which are not available, one has to eat out).

LATEST REVIEW“Quaint stay-over” I was here on a business trip, if I wanted to go out for dinner I was recommended best places and reservations were made for me. The one restaurant on the Pier I decided only late, but the owner made sure he got me a table even though it was packed. I managed to slip in some activities between meetings and once again all bookings were done for me. The people he recommended for these were very good, as if they knew they had to do something special for me. I definitely will go back but with my family and use their awesome family apartment. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It is rare to have this sort of place and I would recommend it for anyone, business or otherwise. Our breakfasts were fresh and well prepared and the rooms were spotless with thoughtful touches like tea trays and a bar fridge. The linen was fresh and crisp and the rooms decorated in a lovely unfussy and classy style. The shower was spacious and the shower head generous while in keeping with the water conservation that is paramount in this area. If there was one tiny improvement it would be that a hairdryer be supplied. ___________________________________________________________ Everybody is very helpful and friendly; the rooms are a 100% clean; carparking in the court; good breakfast; excellent restaurant almost around the corner (the wreck); 1-2 minute to the beach - to make it short: nothing to complain about. |
